The "CAB" is the world's first freestanding cowhide designer chair, inspired by the relationship between the skeleton and the hide; a true example of production excellence that requires multiple stages of handcrafted work to create a highly fashionable, bespoke object. The "CAB" chairs are high-quality, with a hand-stitched natural leather upholstery wrapped around an internal steel frame. The only additional reinforcement is provided by a rubber membrane plate that supports the seat. Bellini's innovation lies in the use of zippers to secure the leather cover to its frame; a zipper runs along the inside of each leg, sealing the cover.
