An antique spindle back rocker from Sweden dated 1911, with scrolled arms and supported by six legs and long sweeping rockers. The original painted details include a base color of black with accents of gold on the turned legs as well as elaborate floral painting on the seat, back splat and arms. A wonderful traditional Swedish form, the rocker has a wax finish which enhances the painted details and patina.
