'Luis Tomasello is an artist of many qualities. He set out along the path he still pursues today in 1958, when he started working in relief; in 1955 he took up abstract art and towards the same date became concerned with kineticism; he developed an interest in light, which he treats through the use of structure and color; he participated in all the major international events devoted to lumino-kineticism that took place in the 1960s. Tomasello, a South American, was born in La Plata Argentina. In 1957 he settled in Paris, where he still lives and works. He will be 97 this year and is still active'.
