Vintage Brutalist Wenge credenza / sideboard, Belgium 1970

Brutalist sideboard in wenge and brushed steel. This sideboard impresses with its elegant dark wood finish and brushed steel strips. This style is part of the brutalist movement, and the Belgian interpretation of this movement has become a must-have. The powerful combination of a large piece of furniture, minimalist design, and a predominantly geometric pattern. It is precisely this combination that gives it a timeless design, capable of adapting to a multitude of interiors. The top and bottom sections are horizontal, the sides vertical. In the center of each door is a round recessed handle with a milled edge on the inside and outside. The doors stay closed thanks to magnetic strips. The storage space on the left is divided by a shelf and four off-white drawers with a green background. The right side of the cabinet is divided in two by a shelf. A brushed steel strip decorates the area under the doors down to the floor. The condition of this brutalist sideboard is good with only minimal signs of use.
