Casigliani METAFORA coffee table, designed by Lella & Massimo Vignelli, Italy, 1979.

The four Euclidean geometric shapes cube, cylinder, sphere, and pyramid each composed of four different materials, form the table's base, which is covered with a large sheet of transparent glass.

These four independent elements can be positioned freely without compromising the table's identity, regardless of their arrangement.

The four geometric shapes are made of different materials: the pyramid in white Carrara marble, the cube in black marble, the cylinder in travertine and the sphere in Rasotica marble.
